Everyone needs a Tom-boy girl in the gang. It just adds up to the fun. Always been proud to be the one in all the Gangs I have been with. Then I met Vaishna. Full name : Vaishna Priya. Aiyooo.............So, now there were TWO.
First meeting??? aaah...hmmm.....Microland Network training.
She asked me "Mallu?"
Me " yes"
She said "Me too"
We both smiled and expressed surprise. What we both were really thinking??? "Oh God, Mallu!! Keep Safe distance"
Yes we wished for it. But God never grants want we want. And weeks later , we both were bound to each other (despite the different shift schedules)
Then the lunches, formal work related stuff, breakfast. Yes it was very very formal between us. And slowly and steadily the opinion about her changed. You know why ? She was the only mallu girl I met in Bangalore who could talk in Hindi..!!! And yeah , I am not exaggerating. She talks in HINDI.
Amazing right??And she wears Jeans. Not that it was important , but it was an added factor ....IT was enough and I knew I would hang out with her more and this friendship was there to Lassssttttt!!!
Yes, there were other things. Our attitudes matched. At times, we end up saying same stuff.
1.Free time is priority. Who cares about work?
2. Abe , kya pehna hai tune?
3. Do you thinkk muje hair straight karna chahiye?
4. Chal yaar, shopping karte hai?
5. Yeh kaun hai new friend? kisko uthake leke aayi?
6. Shiv/Rahul/Preetham ka problem kya hai?
7. Oh God--Guys na!!!
8. Abe dekh- yeh wahi hai. Maine bataya tha na?
9.Oh God , Mallu Gang is standing there. Bhaago.
And once a girl enters your trust zone, the usual happens. Yipeeeee....The Gossips.
We would have gossiped about each and everyone on the floor. And that's how I learned the names of guys who worked in same team as mine. Then to spoil us, Monalisa joined. Yes, her name is Monalisa.
We three have had the best outings, fun, movies, shopping, laugh riots, linkups, crushes and celebrations. All in good sense. Lots of UPs and some Downs, it was a life worth living and worth missing.
And we thought it ended with Microland. That's how it happens. Company ends, we get busy, new friends, new life and we move on.
Oh No.....Not in our case... just got another sms from Vaish.
"Weekend free hai kya?"
